Mission
We are looking for a Financial Project Manager (FPM) to oversee the financial status of renewable energy projects within our Spain & South Europe Business Unit.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Director and will be primarily responsible for key financial KPIs analysis, risk identification & monitoring, and cash flow management; reporting directly to the Project Management and Controlling teams.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Head of Controlling and Administration, your main responsibilities will be:
- Oversee and manage the financial performance of renewable projects in South Europe.
- Collaborate closely with the Program Director (PD) to ensure financial control over projects, working on optimizing project costs.
- Define, track, and analyze key financial KPIs, including Capex, IRR, Uses & Sources, to support decision-making.
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial risks and opportunities associated with projects.
- Ensure efficient cash flow management and financial planning.
- Control of payments and collections for assigned projects.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for Project Management and Controlling teams.
- Coordinate with controlling, project management, and operations teams to ensure financial sustainability.
- Monitor the status of necessary insurance.
- Guarantee and warranty control.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial project control, preferably in renewable energy sector or at least 4 years of experience as controller or external auditor, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
- Proficiency in English, at least C1.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to handle large volumes of data.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, cash flow management, financial reporting, and KPIs is highly valuable.
- SAP/ SAC or Power BI will be a plus.
