Mission

Your mission will be measuring, mapping and analysing terrain, water bodies and other natural features to provide accurate data and advice for construction projects, land use planning and other activities, during the construction of a solar plant to be located in Carmona, Seville. 

Responsibilities

• Handling of conventional topographic equipment such as topographic station, GPS, level, ... 
• Drawing up verification protocols. 
• Carrying out surveys and staking out on site.  
• Generate volumetric and earthwork reports. 
• Calculation of measurements, volumes, precision levelling. 
• Calculation of errors and maximum stakeout tolerances according to the project to be built. 
• Carrying out stakeout and tachymetric surveys. 
• Carrying out and checking of topographical base networks. 
• Control of the execution of the work with Total Station and GPS. 
• Documentary record of data obtained in the field. 
• Control and maintenance of topographic instruments in charge. 
• Fully use topographic equipment, software, and systems to carry out and manage the topography of the project for its construction. 
• Import/export data to/from the field. 
• Finding potential problems in advance and being able to solve them. 
• Adjustment of layouts, in plan and elevation, modification of gradients, change of geometry of axes. 
• Adjustment of elements to be set out to compensate the volume to be filled with the volume to be removed to obtain a compensation of the earthworks. 

Job Requirements

• Degree in Geomatics Engineering and Topography.
• Imprescindible: Curso de prevención de riesgos laborales de la construcción, mínimo 20 horas (España) 
• High level of computer skills in the use of AutoCAD, MDT, Excel, ... 
• Handling of conventional topographic equipment such as topographic station, GPS, level, ... 
• Use of AutoCAD software, DTM, Excel, ... 
• Computers: Office package (Excel, Word, Project...). 
• Use of different topographic computer programs for the calculation of axes (plan, elevation), introduction of standard sections, obtaining longitudinal and transversal profiles, cubic measurements, etc. 
• Demonstrable experience of at least 1-2 years in the same or very similar position
• Knowledge of working in a professional environment
