MISSION

Zelestra is looking for an Asset Management  to manage the technical, commercial and financial performance of the asset fleet in the region.

As Asset Manager you will play a pivotal role taking overall responsibility for managing and overseeing the performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets in Southern Europe.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver business plan and annual budget including financial, commercial and technical performance indicators.
  • Ensure Health and Safety indicators are maintained below threshold.
  • Coordinate a team of Focal Points composed by members of the Administration, Legal, Controlling, Finance Middle Office, Market Operations and Technical teams.
  • Represent the Asset Owners before the Shared Interconnection Infrastructure partners.
  • Monitor compliance of all obligations of the Asset Owner under: PPAs, Market Operation obligations, Finance Agreements, EPC and O&M Agreements, Social and Environmental policies and directives, General permits and licenses, Land Rental Agreements, Secretarial obligations, Insurance policies management, Guarantees issued to third parties.
  • Maximize value of the assets and ROI optimizing project revenues and cost control, including a recurrent analysis of efficiency and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting to the company management the KPI´S and main parameters of the technical and financial performance of the assets in compliance with the contractual obligations.
  • Management of regular deliverables to internal stakeholders, including asset reporting packs, financial return projections, risk assessments and other ad hoc deliverables.
  • Keep all the SPV documentation updated and properly stored.
  • Assist with the commissioning and CAP Process.
  • Support in refinancing processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline (Engineering or similar).
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • At least 15 years of experience within the renewable energy industry working in asset management.
  • Experience working with PV/Wind/BESS assets.
  • Ownership skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful asset management strategies and best practices
  • Ability to promote interdependent Health and Safety culture.
  • Used to leading other teams by influence.
