Mission

In your role as IT & Networking Technician, you ensure the seamless operation of IT infrastructure and networking services across Zelestra's Germany Business Unit. You will support the digital transformation efforts by maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment, optimizing network performance, and ensuring robust cybersecurity protocols. You will collaborate closely with both local and corporate teams to align IT and networking solutions with the company’s operational and strategic goals. You will work within a small team of dedicated colleagues and set the steps for scale up of business.  

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and enhance the performance of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems that support EPC and Operations activities, including cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS), Microsoft 365 environment.
• Network Services Coordination: Design, implement, and manage networking solutions to ensure efficient communication across the Germany Business Unit, including both office and project site environments.
• Cybersecurity Support: Work closely with the IT & Networking Manager and the Head of Digital Infrastructure to implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, protecting Zelestra’s assets and data.
• System Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to identify, diagnose, and resolve IT and network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime for operational teams.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor IT systems and network performance, proactively identifying potential issues and recommending solutions to improve performance and security.
• Collaboration with Digital Teams: Support the IT & Networking Manager in integrating IT solutions within the broader digital transformation initiatives, ensuring IT infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the business unit.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Oversee external vendors and service providers related to IT and networking services, ensuring compliance with Zelestra's standards and operational requirements.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain through documentation of IT systems and provide training to team members on the use of digital tools and IT services to ensure smooth adoption.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• +5 years of experience with strong knowledge of networking technologies, cybersecurity principles, and IT infrastructure management. Experience with system monitoring, network troubleshooting, and cybersecurity implementations.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and networking within an industrial or operations-focused environment, ideally in the energy sector.
• Familiarity with digital transformation projects, including cloud computing, virtualization, and digital tools for EPC and Operations.
• Good languages skills in German and English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in digital tools related to Operations (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Strong willingness to teamwork and collaborate.
• Passion to lead the World towards a clean energy future.
