Commercial Manager, C&I-(south India)

Location:

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), India

Mission:

The role would support to keep the track of Intra State regulation (State transmission, distribution & SLDC Tariff orders), policies & incentives (such as waiver of charges) etc in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana. 

Responsibilities:

• Build robust pipeline for C&I Intrastate Transmission System business segment through market research, cold calling and consultants. 
• Keep track of Intra State regulation (State transmission, distribution & SLDC Tariff orders), policies & incentives (such as waiver of charges) etc in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana. 
• Establish strong relationship with client executives & CXOs and lead the sales process from generation of lead to deal closure. 
• Preparation of energy sizing model, techno-commercial proposals and other analysis as required for closure. 
• Involve in legal negotiation by effectively coordinating with internal cross functional team & client executives. 
• To conduct competitor analysis & identify new market potential through market research, due diligence on policy & regulatory landscape of the market. 
• Coordination with cross functional team for client deliverables & provide post commissioning support to clients. 
• Achieve the organisational targets for the designated geography and Maintain MIS records, trackers & salesforce updates on timely manner. 

Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience in commercials management, with a strong focus on solar energy or renewable energy projects.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
