Mission:

Oversee liquidity management, optimize cash flow, and ensure timely payments and financial compliance. You will manage short and long-term financing, negotiate loan terms, and monitor guarantees and letters of credit. Additionally, you will handle FX exposure, implement payment automation, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal controls. Your leadership will drive financial stability, risk management, and support the company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

​​​​​​Liquidity Management

  1. Monitoring daily liquidity position and arranging short term loans based on the fund position and requirement.
  2. Negotiating the pricing for short/ long term loans.
  3. Review and approval of monthly rolling cashflow forecasts.
  4. Arranging funds via. Equity/ optionable convertible debentures.

Guarantee & Letter of Credit

  1. Monitoring the limits and issuance of Bank Guarantee and Letter of Credit.
  2. Reviewing and approving the text of the guarantee following company’s guideline.
  3. Monitoring and submission of invocation letters to bank before the expiry of bank guarantee issued by the vendors if the obligation is not completed or the expiry date is not extended by the vendors.
  4. Approving the documentation and terms of the letter of credit following the company’s guidelines.
  5. DAN approval after reviewing the deviation and related approvals from the stakeholders.
  6. On time negotiation of payment under the letter of the credit submitted by the customers.

Payments

  1. Monitoring/ processing payments - through SAP S4 HANA (payment runs and timely accounting)
  2. Approval of special payments (Red flagged/ High Risk/ Business Partners, etc.) considering the due dates and nature of the payment.
  3. Approval of payments in the bank portal after 3-way match.
  4. Payment authorization in the bank portal.
  5. Responsible for digitalization and payment automation processes

FX Management

  1. Analyzing the FX exposure every quarter and ensuring sufficient hedges are contracted as per the company’s guideline.
  2. Allocation of funds required for processing import payments (A1 & A2).
  3. Verifying and approving all the payments (A1 & A2) are processed as per the guideline and after obtaining all the necessary approvals.
  4. Unwinding the hedges and fixing the rates to the extent of FX (EUR/ USD/ CNY) required for making payments.

Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field.
  • A master’s degree (MBA) in Finance or a professional qualification
  • Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in treasury management, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.

Requirement:

  • Experience and worked in automation of payments and accounting entries.
  • Ensure Accounting Principles, Foreign Exchange Management Act, etc., & Compliance as per company guidelines.
    • RBI & FEMA Approvals.
    • Risk and Internal Control (Import/ Export, Vendor Onboarding, Procurement Activities, Payment, etc.)
    • Delegation Matrix for payment authorization.
    • Vendor payments approvals after 3-Way Match and 4 Eye Principles through H2H.
    • Receivables Management.
    • Statutory compliance including submission of financial statements and documents for renewal and information required by the bank as per quarterly reporting (i.e., Financials, UHFCE, Ageing (receivables & payables), working capital position, etc.)
