Program Manager Specialist

Mission:

To ensure seamless and efficient project development and execution by facilitating coordination across all pre-construction activities, including land procurement, pre-construction studies, and approvals. Oversee the preparation, tracking, and reporting of project schedules, budget, and progress in line with critical milestones and performance metrics. Foster collaboration between teams to mitigate risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and address bottlenecks in design, construction, and approvals. Maintain a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery, while supporting the creation of comprehensive reporting systems, virtual data rooms, and standardized project management templates to enhance knowledge sharing and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination on Project Development activities (Pre-Construction phase):
  • To facilitate the preparation of Land procurement schedule
  • Monitoring & reporting of land progress – plan vs actual
  • Ensuring circulation of land DPRs with updated KMZ
  • Ensuring all pre-construction studies (route survey, topo, hydro, Geotech, SRA, ESIA, etc.) in-line with project schedule.
  • Ensuring all pre-construction approvals (sec 68, GEDA registration etc) in-line with project schedule.
  • Monitoring De-vex expense (development costs) on monthly basis
  • Support BD team on pre-bid requisites / management presentation decks
• Project Lifecycle Reporting:
  • Develop L3/L4 project schedule in accordance with CFT alignment
  • Arrive on critical paths of project at various stages and develop mitigation plan by brainstorming, CFT discussions
  • Keep a check on project schedule variance <5%
  • Weekly reporting on
    • Project progress report including action points from CFT
    • Budget vs Actuals
    • Cashflow / Fund requirement

• EPC / Construction Management
• • QHSE overall review
  • Construction overview and daily DPR for project activities.
  • Support construction team on bottlenecks related to design, supplies and approvals
  • Managing Risk and opportunity register
  • Track all the approval status
  • With 3rd party EPC / direct packages
    • Weekly tracking of agreed project schedule
    • Ensure all necessary reporting from their side
      • MDL
      • Material Inspection & supply tracker incl. MDCC
      • Invoicing tracker
      • Weekly construction report
      • Compliance reports
      • HSE and Quality reports
  • Structured HOTO of project from EPC / Construction to Asset Management
• PMO (on processes & data repository)
  • Creation of standard VDR (Virtual Data Room) for respective projects
  • Development of PM templates as required during project lifecycle management
  • Lessons learnt report for respective project

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management roles of renewable projects / power projects

Requirement:

• High proficiency in project planning software like Primavera, MS – Projects and Smartsheet
