MISSION:

Zelestra Energy (formerly Known as Solarpack) is looking to hire “Head – Permits and Regulatory Affairs” for Indian business unit. The main objective of this position will be to overview and control all the permits and approvals for projects under execution and development by liasoning with government and external regulatory bodies involved in the project.     

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor overall permits and regulatory affairs of the organization.
  • Act as a single point of contact for liaising with government utilities on behalf of Solarpack India
  • Manage relationship with external stakeholders like MNRE, SECI, CTUIL, PGCIL, MOD, and other regulatory bodies and to monitor, track, and log submissions in a timely manner for permits and approvals.
  • To own, lead and secure all project approvals timely as per the project schedule.
  • To support the project commissioning by lining up all the inspections and visits of authorities like CEA, CEIG, SLDC etc.
  • Serve as a key point of contact with internal stakeholders to develop and monitor permit and approval processes. 
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies on all project requirements.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of central and state renewable energy policies, GNA frameworks, and application procedures for project connectivity.
  • Contribute to finalization of business pipeline according to central / state frameworks.
  • Should be well versed with all pre-construction and construction-related project approvals both for C&I as well as utility projects.
  • Report overall industry developments and forthcoming government policies.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 14-16 years of experience in projects of renewable industry

 

REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Engineering

    • Communication, meeting, and presentation skills
