Mission

The position of Remote Operation Center Operator for solar plants will be based at the central offices in Bilbao (Bizkaia).

The ROC Operator will be responsible for remotely monitoring renewable energy projects in operation, with the mission of ensuring optimal availability levels.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Remote monitoring of projects in real time of the main performance indicators, alarms, events and activities of all projects.
  • Reporting: Preparation of daily, monthly and annual production and incident tracking reports, monthly presentation of production results and efficiency indicators. Daily reporting to dispatch coordinators and other market agents.
  • Analysis of production data and efficiency indicators of projects and comparison of robustness and consistency to check accuracy of instrumentation equipment.
  • Remote support to plants during start-up, end of day and incident resolution.
  • CMMS/GMAO management: management of incidents, warnings and work order openings.
  • Collaborate in the fulfilment of the health and safety and environmental objectives established by the management, as well as in the integration of preventive action in their area of work.
  • Knowing and complying with the regulations, procedures and instructions that affect their work, in particular the prevention and protection measures.
  • Collaborate in the integration of health and safety in their work area.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • University degree or Vocational Training, Higher Degree in electricity and electronics.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS / CMMS).
  • Essential medium-high level of English, C1.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operation and maintenance tasks or as a Remote Control Centre Technician (preferably in power generation plants in renewable projects).
  • Proactivity and ability to learn about the technical and financial areas of the photovoltaic solar energy projects to be managed.
  • Results-oriented, efficient and proactive.
  • Skills in the generation of documentation and reports.
  • Data analysis skills (Excels analysis, etc.)
  • Availability to work on a shift and night basis, 24/7 flexibility.
