Mission

The Global Remote Operation Center -ROC- mission is to centralize the monitoring, control, and optimization of remote assets (solar plants), systems, and processes, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across distributed operations. By leveraging technology, data analytics, and a skilled team, the ROC aims to enable real-time decision-making and seamless communication, supporting field operations and maximizing the performance of critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Asset Management & ROC Director, you will be responsible of remote monitoring of projects in operation with shift rotation with the mission of achieving the desired availability levels, as well as ensuring continuous improvement of projects through the maximizing production in renewable plants.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team in charge of generating plans to monitor production loss events, with the vision of maximizing production in renewable plants.
• Continuous Improvement Projects (Performance Ratio).
• Coordinate the shift team to ensure business continuity of remote operations of own and third-party assets.
• Enter into shift rotation operation in order to ensure operations with the rest of the ROC managers.
• Support Asset Management teams such as the Global Remote Operation Center in information management.
• Coordination of daily, monthly and annual production reports and monitoring of incidents, monthly presentation of production results and efficiency indicators.
• Analysis of production data and efficiency indicators of projects and comparison of solidity and consistency to check the accuracy of instrumentation equipment.
• Remote support to plants during start-up, at the end of the day and during the resolution of incidents.
• Know and comply with the regulations, procedures and instructions that affect your work, in particular prevention and protection measures.
• Coordinate the monitoring of the operation of the parks, analyzing production data and incidents that are recorded.
• Define and implement the ROC processes, instructions and routines.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks, improvements, updates and integration of new plants in the ROC portfolio management system and the maintenance management system.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the real-time management system that will be integrated into the Control Center.
• Collaborate in the integration of health and safety in your work area.

Job Requirements

• University degree or Vocational Training, Higher Degree in electricity and electronics.
• Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in operation and maintenance work or as a Remote Control Center technician (preferably in renewable projects).
• Effective multi-department communication
• Generation of technical reports on main KPIs
• High English (at least B2 level).
• Maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Renewables Assets.
• SCADA Systems.
• Availability to work shifts (not at night).
