MISSION

Reporting to the Country Manager Italy and to the Corporate Head of EPC, this position will lead the business generation in Italy ensuring the effective and efficient execution of EPC projects. This involves coordinating across the different areas (engineering, procurement, and construction) to meet time, budget, and quality objectives.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead EPC project execution: Ensure that construction projects are planned and executed in accordance with technical specifications, budgets, and timelines. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from engineering and design to final delivery.
  • Resource management and coordination: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of all project phases. Optimize the use of resources (human, material, and technological) to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards: Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with local and international regulations, including risk management, safety, and environmental considerations.
  • Financial management and cost control: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that costs remain under control and within agreed limits. Identify and mitigate potential financial deviations and manage contractual negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Stakeholder management: Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and fulfillment of contractual commitments.
  • Process optimization and continuous improvement: Implement and promote process improvements to increase efficiency in project delivery. Evaluate best practices and emerging technologies in the construction industry.
  • Risk mitigation and problem-solving: Anticipate, identify, and mitigate potential risks at every stage of the project. Proactively resolve issues that may arise during project execution.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development in Southern Europe and Latam, with Global & multi-technology greenfield development (PV, Wind, BESS & Green Hydrogen). 
  • Extensive Italian market knowledge, industry contacts and existing network.
  • High level of oral and written Italian and English.
  • 5+ years Knowledge of market dynamics in the renewable industry portfolio. Experience in handling complex and high value impact (Business P&L potential) topics, critical to make decisions on the long-term strategy for the organization.
  • Market experience with proven track record of success in business development, with multi-technology greenfield development (PV, BESS). 
  • Highly proficient at managing executive level seniority in both internal organization and with external customers and stakeholders.
  • Role model in leading the market developments and active person in the external renewable market dynamics.
  • High level skills in business development & project management roles with industrial background required.
  • Proving experience in managing and developing high performance teams with respect for individuals and cultures across all locations delivering respectful and courteous behavior in all work engagements with internal colleagues and external customers and stakeholders.
