RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Consolidation and ICFR Manager in Spain your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Monthly/Quarterly financial closures preparation (IFRS and local GAAP).

  • Monthly/Quarterly accounting report to the consolidation team following IFRS standards and corporate guidelines.

  • Manage the statutory auditors, outsourcing partners (local GAAP, transactional accounting, etc.)

  • Preparation of the annual budget and forecast for the country.

  • Manage local Tax compliance and transfer pricing policies.

  • Reporting of the country dashboard.

  • Ad-hoc reports, risk and opportunity detection, deviations, and areas for business improvement.

  • Supervision of tasks carried out by the Financial Project Manager under their responsibility, cost control, and project profitability calculation.

  • Risk and opportunity tracking, action plan monitoring.

  • Preparation of the information for Monthly Performance Review.

  • Monthly cash-flow reporting to Treasury.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in operations, accounting, and financial analysis or as auditor in a Big Four Firm.
  • Minimum level of English: C1.
  • Spanish knowledge valued.
  • Willingness and ability to travel if required by projects.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Team player who can excel in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary project team environment with the ability to adapt to change.
