Job Overview
Join Zelestra’s expanding U.S. team to support power purchase agreements and lease assistance, as well as contribute to corporate governance and entity formation.
Job Requirements
- Education: J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Admitted to the bar in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience: At least 4 years of legal experience in renewable energy, specializing in development, M&A, or project finance.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and drafting abilities, ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.REMOTE

Responsibilities
- Project Development: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for renewable energy projects, including power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, equipment procurement, and land acquisition/lease documents.
- Project Finance: Support the financing of renewable energy projects, including tax equity and IRA-related matters.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Provide guidance on the acquisition of development-stage renewable energy projects, including conducting due diligence and negotiating relevant documents.
- Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance processes and decision-making at the investment committee and board levels, as well as in entity formation and management.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with renewable energy projects, ensuring project success and sustainability.
