Reports To: The Procurement Manager will be part of the Global Procurement Organization, having a double report to the Corporate Procurement and Logistics Director and to the US COO.

Role Overview
The Procurement Manager is responsible for, integrating, and managing strategic, commercial, and contractual activities in support of Renewable asset development, construction, and operations. This position will execute ‘go to market’ strategies as well as have responsibility for commercial implementation, market intelligence, and on-going management. The Procurement Manager will liaison between asset development, engineering, construction, and operations to maximize value of opportunities presented pre- and post-project execution.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or similar experience
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Renewable Energy Sector

- Execute commercial ‘go to market’ opportunities supporting asset development strategies.
- Negotiate, contract, and implement end-to-end activities for owner supplied equipment for each project.
- Maintain a constant presence throughout the construction process by managing all commercial implementation requirements.
- Implement supply chain sustainability practices including diverse tier 1 and multi-tier sourcing opportunities.
- Engage supply chain team in opportunities to maximize support of broader Procurement spend areas.
- Support internal and external relationships through regular updates, coordinated leadership reviews, presentations and escalations.
- Support contracts need for all contractors sourced for miscellaneous development activities, such as surveying, engineering, archeology, civil and Geotech.
- Support PO releases, invoice reconciliation and mismatch resolution
- Monitor status of trade barriers imposed by countries that may impact the price and/or availability of imported products. Provide feedback on alternative equipment supply strategies, when necessary.
- Supervise an (1) FTE to support achievement of objectives
- Develop and implement key Procurement strategies for high impact, usage and/or spend areas.
- Provide support in development of metrics and perform periodic performance management.
- Initiate, plan and execute strategic business reviews for key categories.
- Collaborate effectively, deliver timely information and provide recommendations.
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure that centrally driven strategies align with business objectives.
- Support and promote Zelestra’s Supplier Diversity programthrough outreach and supplier development activities.
- Track performance within each spend and measure value directly attributed to budgets along with other forms of value creation.
- Develop Procurement insights and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders, colleagues and management.
- Influence teams through fact-based discussions, including developing clear and concise and business cases
- Conduct market analysis to maintain insights related to commodities and other supply chain relevant topics including supplier health, ESG and adverse media.
- Provide commercial support to select and manage suppliers.
