MISSION

Reporting to the Director of EPC, the EPC Sales Director will lead and manage commercial and sales activities within the EPC sector for photovoltaic solar plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Countries perimeter: Spain, Italy and Latam. 

The primary role is to develop sales strategies to acquire new business and manage key client relationships, ensuring the company's commercial success in the EPC sector. This role also involves identifying growth opportunities in domestic and international markets.

The EPC Sales Director will serve as an ambassador for Zelestra’s values and organizational priorities, cascading measurable goals to business unit programs and leading the delivery of Zelestra's strategy. This individual will promote a culture of high performance within a multi-technology environment (Wind, PV, BESS, & Green Hydrogen).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a strategic business development plan. Design and execute sales strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives in the EPC sector for photovoltaic and BESS projects. Identify and evaluate potential clients and new business opportunities in local and international markets. Develop action plans for market penetration and expansion of the client portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for clients from the proposal phase through to the signing of the EPC contract. Identify and address client needs and expectations, providing customized solutions.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that commercial proposals are viable, competitive, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Market and Competition Analysis: Conduct market studies to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the EPC sector. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to differentiate the company’s offerings. Analyze sales performance and adjust commercial strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Sales Team Management: Lead and motivate the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance, providing feedback and support for professional development. Develop training programs to enhance the technical and commercial skills of the sales team.
  • Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue projections, and the status of ongoing projects. Present reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Ensure the achievement of sales and profitability targets set by the company.               

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development in Southern Europe and Latam.
  • Extensive SEU and Latam market knowledge, industry contacts and existing network.
  • High level of oral and written English, C1.
  • 7+ years of experience with proven track record of success in the photovoltaic sector. 
  • High level skills in business development with industrial background required.
