EPC Transmission Line Coordinator

LOCATION

Sevilla, Spain; Madrid, Spain; Valencia, Spain

MISSION

Management, planning, organization, and management responsibility of the Transmission Lines department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of the HV transmission line engineering department, which will be responsible for the design of these facilities in engineering projects at any stage, including the preparation of bids and technical management of the purchases of any equipment and contracting of EPC work associated with transmission lines.
• Coordinate with the different engineering areas and with the technical project managers the engineering needs and delivery requirements.
• Management and planning of the workload of all personnel under his/her charge.
• Monitored and provided support to the engineering team.
• Attend interdepartmental meetings, as well as convene and direct the meetings of his/her
• department.
• Attend meetings with clients and suppliers on engineering matters under his/her responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with the committed delivery schedules and the quality criteria established in the project and engineering quality plans.
• Preparation of the engineering under his/her responsibility.
• Lead the implementation of the SIG procedures related to design in your section.
• Carry out the actions applicable to the department derived from the continuous improvement plans.
• Develop and implement work procedures concerning your department.
• Collaborate in the fulfillment of the QHSE objectives and goals established by management.
• Know and comply with the regulations, manuals and procedures that affect your work.
• Perform periodic design compliance inspections on project sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering - Specialty Electricity / Bachelor.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering - Specialty Electricity / Renewable Energies.

• English C1
• Microsoft Office
• AutoCAD
• GIS
• MV and HV electrical design, such as PLS-CADD of HV line design Tower
• At least 5 years of experience performing similar functions.
• Availability for international travel.
