RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Health and Safety Technician on site, you will be responsible for verifying compliance with Zelestra's safety standards and current Health and Safety and Environmental legislation on the project.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Advise on the generation of work procedures, disseminate them and ensure their compliance on site.
  • Disseminate the corresponding emergency programmes.
  • Identify deviations from the Safety and Environmental Plan during the development of the project, by carrying out inspections of the tasks and verifying the correct application of the procedures and monitoring of corrective measures for possible incidents.
  • Ordering the stoppage of work whenever, in their opinion, it is carried out under conditions of risk to the safety of workers.
  • Participate in accident and incident reports.
  • Ensure that workers have been instructed in work procedures every time they carry out tasks that require the use of these, evaluating the contents and keeping a record of this.
  • Supervise the correct use of PPE and collective protections as specified in the risk assessment of the task.
  • Verify the completion of all documents generated at the start of the working day, such as: daily safety talk, work permits, risk control sheets and similar.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate degree.
  • Advanced Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, specialising in Occupational Safety or equivalent qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health and safety and labour legislation.
